This stunning editorial with a nod to the Italian countryside was created by a talented group of West Australian creatives. Harriette Gordon and Laura Weekley from Pop Up Planning Co came up with the beautiful concept behind this shoot. The talented duo beautifully brought together the magic of an Italian Summer with this impeccably styled editorial. The pair wanted to tell the story of an Italian elopement and did that just perfectly.
Award-winning photographer Liz Looker captured the magic of the day with her natural, candid, observant style and eye for beauty. Nina from Nina Ma’Belle Weddings also assisted with the shoot and extended her skills to fashion styling by combining accessories by Linney's Jewellery and Sheridan Tjhung with Harriette Gordon's bridal looks. Makeup artist Tess De Grauw complemented the ethereal gowns and accessories with soft, glowing makeup.
This relaxed, elegant and stylish editorial, shows lovers Emmelie and Marco under the dappled light and nods to an Italian Countryside elopement.
Lemon trees, blue shutters, flowing fountains, iron outdoor settings, shell grit and a topiary garden was the setting for the day. A vintage convertible car, powder blue gown, understated floral arrangements, an elegant and playful table scape and flowing vintage champagne set the scene for their unequivocally stylish and effortless day.
Model Emmelie wore Harriette Gordon bridal pieces throughout the day, the Lantern Gown in a Light Blue raw silk for the ceremony with Diamond and Sapphire flower studs and flower ring to match hand crafted by Linney's Jewellery. For the moments in between, Emmelie wore the Butterfly top and Mikado silk skirt, with Linney’s gold and pearl earrings, rings and cuff. Departing in a 1970 cream Jensen overflowing with blue Delphinium, Emmelie changed to her original jewellery of Sapphire and Diamonds and an Ivory Lace mini, blue velvet boots and Sheridan Tjhung’s sculptural, organza bow bag.
Marco wore an Edward McCann dark navy wool double breasted suit for the ceremony with petershaw ribbon bow tie and changed to a blue-charcoal linen suit.
In true Italian style, the cake was a crostata di lamponi crafted by Pink Orchard Cakes, sitting eloquently on a Pop Up Planning Co. styled dessert table.
Below the Sycamore Trees, Pop-Up Planning Co. worked with the couple to style a beautiful long table which was set with ivory linen, blue chinoiserie plates, crystal and coloured glassware and gold flatware by The Vintage Table Perth, Side Serve and Pedersen Event Hire. Another stunning detail was the hand lettered place cards by Sam Pauletto. Natural Art Flowers adorned the table in small white vases of multiple colours and accented with Beeswax candles from Loam.
