Bori & Damian

Tell us a little about yourselves!

Bori is Hungarian, while Damian is from Macedonia. We met five years ago in Budapest, Hungary, where we had our first date in the City Park (Városliget). It was a truly magical night for both of us, and we instantly felt comfortable in each other’s company.

We come from different countries, but have very similar family backgrounds. Also, we look at life in similar ways. This is why we very quickly established a deep and meaningful connection which we maintained throughout the pandemic and through several long-distance periods. We support one another daily by having honest conversations, listening and understating, and growing as human being trough mutual help and love.

We had our wedding in Budapest this spring. Shortly afterward, we moved to Vienna, Austria, where we began our married life together.

Why did you decide to have your (engagement) shoot where you did?

We were delighted to have a photoshoot with Fanni Hermán in the Schönbrunn Park, not only because the location is beautiful and a symbol of Vienna, but also because it reminded us of our many walks and of our magical first date in the Budapest Városliget.

Any tips for couples planning a wedding?

Pay attention to the details! We aimed for an intimate wedding with only close friends and family, but we wanted every detail to feel truly special and memorable. So, we spent a lot of time planning—the outfits, location, menu, decorations, and schedule.
