What would you like couples to know about Modern Day Romance?
I have a background in graphic design and I pride myself on having an 'eye’ for the finer details such as colour, nature and textures. I find myself honing in on small moments that pull the day together. Alongside this, I am sentimental, and adore capturing moments candidly between my couples that show their love. The combination of capturing these moments and elements is where I draw my biggest inspiration.

I am based in Newcastle, Australia however, am available worldwide.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely!
What motivates you to do what you do?
Witnessing connection and moments. Kisses shared, hands held, proud parents, happy exchanges and the setting which makes up a wedding. I imagine my couples looking through the content and being reminded of exactly how they felt in that moment.
How would you describe your working style?
I have a fly on the wall approach. I’ve had couples confess to me that they “forgot I was even there”. They tend to follow this up with a quick apology, a laugh and say that they hope that didn’t offend me. And it never does. I love knowing that my couples are completely in their moment and that my presence is not a disruption. Alongside this, I bring a mix of calm and fun energy to the day, and adore connecting with my couples and their guests.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
Our focus is content creation via iPhone, with an optional add-on package for Camcorder. Shooting with film is something I enjoy in my spare time, but have loved taking it along to a few weddings in the past (with the photographer’s permission).
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
The Camcorder add-on. These snippets are homage to moments captured by Camcorders in the past, and bring a warm sense of nostalgia to your reel/video.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
USA!
Who is your dream client?
Couples who make their wedding day a celebration which is uniquely them. They are creative in how they approach the day, they’re intentional and aren’t afraid to go against the grain of what a ‘normal’ wedding day should look and feel like. They find comfort and security in knowing they have chosen someone that aligns with their style. They are also madly in love!
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Think about what you want to get out of the day, really consider what traditions to keep and skip, and make it unique to you as a couple. Take moments to feel present and remember what the day is really about.
