Tell us about your business!

The cornerstone of my business is relationships, and it’s my hope that clients would become friends. Sometimes I feel like I get to just hang out with cool people and capture some photos of them along the way. I find that the most natural and perfectly candid moments happen this kind of setting.

What would you like couples to know about you?

I love my job! I love the relationships more. It’s great to be creative in this work but to also connect with clients personally.

What is a favourite service that you offer and why?

Film photography adds a perfect element of nostalgia to any gallery.

How long have you been a photographer?

8 years.

How would you describe your style?

Documentary, nostalgic, editorial.

What is your most memorable career moment?

The moments I most cherish in my career are the ones spent immersed in the celebration of my clients. At the intimate dinner table, on the dance floor or at the after-party, etc.

What is your ideal work destination?

I’ve thought a lot about this question. I think in short - it’s anywhere that has sentimental value to the couple. Shooting in locations that are aesthetically beautiful can be amazing and I definitely have a bucket list however, ideally it holds meaning to the couple and their relationship because the photos end up being that much more nostalgic and emotional.

Who is your dream client?

The nontraditional, aesthetically conscious couples that are willing to go against the grain and get creative for their celebration.

What motivates you to do what you do?

I am motivated by my love for documentary work and capturing moments happening in real time.

If you could describe your business in three words, what would they be?

Intentional, relational, documentary.

What inspires you?

Anything vintage! Especially mid-century modern design and editorials. The city, coffee table books, graphic and interior design.

What is your favourite travel destination?

Portugal or Greece!

If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Intentional, empathetic, personable.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Plan quiet, considered moments that you and your partner can look forward to during your wedding day. Have a private cocktail moment after the ceremony, schedule a 15 minute outfit change just to get away and connect. Get creative because the day can be overwhelming and it’s good to have a couple things in place for you two to breathe and be present.
