What would you like couples to know about you?

I was born and raised in a city known for its clowns, trapezes, and world-famous tightrope walkers. Sarasota, Florida is considered the "Circus Capital of the World," and while I was never in the circus, I have John Ringling, one of the famous Ringling brothers, to thank for my interest in art and entrepreneurship. I grew up exploring his art collection at what is now known as The Ringling Museum, one of his former homes. I initially studied Illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design, but after discovering my true passion for photography, I dropped out and never looked back. While living in Ålesund, Norway, my passion for art flourished, opening doors for me to photograph weddings in diverse locations such as Mexico, Scotland, and Sweden.

I'm an introvert, but I've been told that I come alive with a camera in my hands. I enjoy sipping coffee, exploring new places, playing board games, diving into psychology, fantasy, visiting art museums, and working on creative projects.

Where are you based?

I’m based on the East Coast of the United States.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, I travel worldwide with discounts in Los Angeles, Portland, the UK, Oslo, and Melbourne.

How would you describe your style?

My style is timeless yet film-inspired while leaning into slightly warmer tones and atmosphere.

What is your most memorable career moment?

Capturing a wedding is always a memorable experience, but two stand out—one in Mexico and one in Sweden. What made them special wasn’t just the breathtaking settings; it was the people. I traveled solo for both, spending the entire weekend with my couple’s closest friends and family, soaking up the sun, wandering through new places, and getting to know the people who mean the most to them.

There’s something special about those connections. Sharing stories, hearing the inside jokes, and understanding the reasons behind the emotions on the wedding day—it makes every moment feel richer. It’s not just about documenting the day but being a part of the story as it unfolds, making each frame that much more meaningful.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by thoughtful design, evocative atmospheres, and compelling stories. But there’s something about the old that always stops me in my tracks—I’m instinctively drawn to it. There’s a depth and character in things with history, a kind of beauty that can only be shaped by time. Maybe that’s why I want to live in an old cottage, with exposed beams and aged stone, or why I always find myself lingering over Renaissance and Baroque paintings in museums. The film Délicieux captures so much of the art and decor I’m drawn to, and photographers like Jaime Beck and Elle-May Watson continue to be sources of inspiration for my work.

How would you describe your working style?

I’m a documentary photographer dedicated to capturing your day as honestly as possible, while incorporating style and design elements into your images– creating art you can frame on your walls. My aim is for your wedding to feel like a curated collection of art pieces, tailored to your unique style. I'll follow a timeline, plan, and direct the portrait portion(s) of your day, but my goal is to remain as much of a fly on the wall as possible.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

I shoot both digital and 35mm.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

Yes! I have pre-made packages but I’m happy to create something custom too.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

I offer two engagement session experiences, tailored to different needs. The first is a relaxed, personalized session that feels more like a fun date than a traditional photoshoot. Instead of stiff posing, we incorporate meaningful locations and activities—whether it’s visiting your favorite café, exploring a bookstore, or enjoying a scenic walk—capturing authentic moments as they unfold.

The second is a fully designed experience where I curate every detail, from selecting locations to styling outfits that align with your vision. This option is perfect for couples who want a cohesive, thoughtfully crafted session without the stress of planning. Whether you prefer a spontaneous, natural approach or a carefully designed aesthetic, both experiences result in images that feel effortless, personal, and true to you.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

Mont Saint Michel, Edinburgh, Senlis, or anywhere within the Cotswolds.

Who is your dream client?

My dream clients are creative, authentic, collaborative, and stylish. They appreciate the simple moments—like a quiet cup of coffee or a walk in nature—and approach life with intention. They trust my creative vision and value my work, allowing me to capture the moments that reflect their unique story.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Do what you want to do. The professionals will handle the rest.
