Tell us about your business!

My photography business is dedicated to capturing love stories with a modern, fashion-forward aesthetic. Specialising in both local and destination weddings, I offer a blend of digital and 35mm/120mm film photography to create timeless, artistic images. For destination weddings, I often collaborate with my videographer partner to provide couples with a seamless photo and video team experience. My style is a mix of creative storytelling and emotional connection, focusing not only on the big, defining moments but also the candid, meaningful ones in between. I’m passionate about building genuine relationships with my clients, ensuring that each celebration feels personal and authentic. Every wedding and elopement is a unique occasion, so I offer fully customisable packages – whether for a grand multi-day event or a more intimate celebration. I also design luxury fine art wedding albums, high-quality coffee table books that beautifully showcase your wedding day and allow you to relive those special moments for years to come.

What would you like couples to know about you?

My number one goal is to build trust and familiarity so that you can fully relax, be yourselves, and have fun — because joy is hugely important. I want you to look back on your images and remember how much fun it was in that moment! My priority is making you feel at ease, relaxed, and supported throughout your experience with me. I put a lot of care and love into ensuring that your entire journey, from the moment we connect to your wedding day itself, feels special. On your big day, I'll feel like an extension of your closest family and friends, helping create those genuine moments that will live forever in your photos.

Where are you based?

I’m based in Melbourne, Australia however I travel often to shoot weddings and elopements all over the world! Around July – September (give or take), I’m usually shooting overseas and I reserve these dates for the European wedding season.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, absolutely! I am a destination wedding photographer. For destination weddings or during the European wedding season, I travel as a photography/videography team with my partner, to provide a seamless photo and video experience.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings and intimate elopements in Greece, Bali, Canada, Germany, Paris and the beautiful cliffs of Capri! Travel has always been a passion of mine and it is something I deeply value in life. It’s always so exciting getting to see where my work and my couples take me – I love to fully immerse myself into new parts of our world. Connecting with people from all cultures and backgrounds is part of the reason why I love this work so much.

How would you describe your style?

My style is all about capturing spontaneous, non-traditional moments with a relaxed and modern approach. I focus on creating honest, beautiful imagery that prioritises real emotions and authentic moments. Blending candid documentary with stylish editorial, I aim to deliver photos that feel timeless yet high-end.

Drawing from my love of fashion photography, I ensure my couples not only feel comfortable and relaxed but also look incredible. My approach is tailored to each couple’s unique connection and vision, placing a strong emphasis on building a genuine relationship. This trust allows me to create natural, relaxed photos that reflect who you truly are, making the experience feel more like working with a friend.

What is your most memorable career moment?

I experience countless 'pinch-me' moments that fill me with immense gratitude and joy, especially when I travel overseas for destination weddings. After months or even years of virtual conversations, finally meeting my couples in person is such a special feeling – it’s like reuniting with old friends. One of my most unforgettable moments happened recently during a really special destination elopement in Capri, Italy. It doesn’t feel right to call it a ‘career’ moment because it was so much more – it was the beginning of a beautiful, genuine friendship.

Liv, the bride, and I had a beautiful connection long before their wedding, but when we finally met in Capri, it was so emotional for both of us – almost bringing us to tears! I photographed her and Dave's intimate elopement – it was just the two of them, me as the photographer, and my partner Luca as their videographer. We all met up the day before which was so lovely, and on their special day I remember it just feeling so beautiful, calm and connected. The energy was special. The day ended with all of us jumping off a boat into the water as the sun set. I still remember Liv walking off the pier, barefoot with her wedding shoes and bouquet in hand, wet hair, but radiating pure joy and love.

This day stands out as my most cherished memory – not just because of the beautiful moments/photos we captured but because of the connection we forged together. As adults, forming new friendships like this is rare, and I feel so lucky to have experienced it through my work.

What inspires you?

My couples are my biggest inspiration! I love getting to know them – understanding what brings them joy, what makes them laugh, and what they truly value in each other and their loved ones. That spark in their eyes is something I always aim to capture, reflecting how they see one another.

I’m deeply invested in every wedding I photograph and love being part of the vision they’ve carefully crafted. Open communication is key for me, and I get genuinely excited when couples share their inspiration with me.

What inspires me most is who they are as individuals – what drives them, what they love, and the meaningful connections they share with those closest to them. This emotional connection is at the core of everything I do. Artistically, I also draw inspiration from architecture, fashion, cinematography and art, all of which influence my creative approach.

How would you describe your working style?

My working style is a hybrid approach that adapts to different moments of the day. I bring a calm, laid-back presence while also adding fun, vibrant energy, joy, and laughter to your celebration. I love capturing both the big moments and the small, in-between ones that hold deeper meaning for you.

I’m easygoing and enjoy chatting with your family and guests, fully immersing myself in your day so your photos feel like they were taken by someone from your inner circle. While I’ll step in to provide guidance and direction to ensure we capture beautiful portraits in the best light and setting, I also know when to step back, allowing genuine moments to unfold naturally.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

I shoot both digital and film! While digital photography is my primary medium, I also offer 35mm or 120mm film as an additional service. I absolutely love the unique, nostalgic quality that film brings – it pairs beautifully with the crispness of digital images, adding depth and texture. Film has become a popular choice among my clients, and I’m thrilled they appreciate the timeless charm and artistry it brings to their collection.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

For destination elopements and weddings, I always create custom packages because no two celebrations are the same. The unique locations and multi-day events – often including a welcome event, the wedding or elopement day, and a recovery day – mean that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. Each package is tailored to fit your individual needs and vision.

For Australian-based weddings and elopements, I offer set packages based on different time requirements, but I’m always happy to customise them to ensure they suit your specific plans and preferences.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

New York, Mallorca, Lake Como, Portugal, Paris, Provence.

Who is your dream client?

My dream clients are those who love deeply, express their emotions freely, and treat everyone around them with kindness. A shared passion for travel, fashion, style, and art is a definite bonus!

What is your advice to couples getting married?

My advice to couples getting married is to stay true to what you really want. Your wedding day should be a reflection of who you are as individuals and as a couple. Focus on what brings you joy and makes you both happy, and try not to take on the pressures or expectations of others. It's your day – make sure it feels authentic to you!
