Tell us about your business!
Photography is more than a career for me—it’s my love for life. I’ve always dreamed of being a photographer, and over the years, I explored different styles, from portraits to fashion, before finding my true calling in wedding photography.
I started at 19, working with agencies and as a second shooter, and after university, I knew this was the path I wanted to follow. Now, in my fourth year in the business, I couldn’t be more grateful for this journey.
What would you like couples to know about you?
I want couples to know that, for me, each love story is a work of art. Every relationship is unique, and my greatest passion is capturing its essence in the most authentic and meaningful way. It’s incredibly important for me to connect deeply with my couples, to truly understand their bond, and to find the perfect symphony between their emotions and my vision.
And that I’m very very hyperactive, you may see me doing things without stopping a while and I'm also a “little” sensitive - I usually cry all my tears during vows.
Where are you based?
I’m based in Bologna, the city where I was born and raised, most of the time. Nestled between rolling hills and flat plains, it’s a charming city in the heart of northern Italy. However, sometimes I find myself in Cortina d’Ampezzo, where I do some editing while soaking in the pure mountain air.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I would love to travel more and more! I love how traveling and shooting weddings allow me to immerse myself in a blend of tradition and new experiences—it’s the perfect match!
How would you describe your style?
I’d like to say that I truly embrace the environment around me, doing my best to capture the most genuine memories of your day. I approach this with a documentary style, allowing moments to unfold naturally, while adding a touch of vintage, editorial flair for a timeless feel.
My focus is on offering you my unique vision of your event. I embrace the chaos (just a bit!), working to organize the messiness and highlight the details you might otherwise overlook. It’s all about creating a collection of images that truly reflect the essence of your day, both in the big moments and the subtle, fleeting ones.
I also love giving you a full visual storytelling experience—one that’s so beautifully crafted it can be printed in a stunning table book, filled with artfully curated and thoughtfully composed photos. Every image is chosen with care, ensuring your story is captured in the most meaningful and artistic way possible.
What is your most memorable career moment?
I think that every wedding is a memorable day but… In my career I think it could be, for now, the chance to shoot an elopement in Paris, my favourite city in the world.
What inspires you?
My style is deeply inspired by light—how it shifts and shapes the scene around me. I find beauty in the smallest details, often looking for those special angles and frames that tell a story from a different perspective, much like Vivienne Mayer or Tina Modotti’s striking compositions. I’m drawn to capturing everyday life, but always with a unique twist.
I also find inspiration in the works of Impressionist painters, where the play of natural light and shadows creates a sense of movement and emotion. I love to experiment with these elements in my photography, capturing not just moments, but the atmosphere, the mood, and the subtle interplay of light and form.
How would you describe your working style?
In my past life I think I was a Golden Retriever! I’m loyal, enthusiastic, and always ready to lend a helping hand. I’m deeply committed to my work, and I bring a positive, calm energy to every project.
I enjoy being by your side and making you feel at ease. I aim to create a relaxed and joyful atmosphere for my clients. I’m always attentive, focused on the details, and eager to go the extra mile to capture those authentic moments.
My goal is to make the experience enjoyable, stress-free, and full of warmth—because I just think it’s very important to make you feel comfortable and valued throughout the entire process.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
I love film! That’s the answer! I always suggest keeping or adding film to the package my couples choose—you won’t regret it, trust me.
Most of my packages already include film, allowing me to fully express my vision and create something truly special.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
I usually suggest a full experience package if they want a weekend photo coverage, with both film and digital. However, I have different options. Full day, intimate wedding, second shooter, third shooter.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
One of my favorite services to offer is incorporating film photography into my packages. I truly believe that film adds a unique, timeless quality to the photos, creating images that are both nostalgic and authentic.
There’s something about the texture and depth that digital can’t replicate, and it allows me to express my vision in a more personal, artistic way. I always suggest keeping or adding film to the package because it’s something you won’t regret—it’s an experience and a product that lasts beyond the moment, capturing your memories in a beautifully timeless way.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
Everywhere! Seriously, I’d love to travel to so many places—Mexico, Argentina, New York, an elopement in Iceland, a colorful wedding in Marrakech, and I’m also drawn to South Africa and Namibia. The list goes on!
But my closest dream is actually much closer to home: I’d love to shoot at Tonnara di Scopello in Sicily.
Who is your dream client?
The couples I work with are typically easygoing and open to new ideas, which makes the creative process a joy. Many of them have roots in diverse cultures or have lived abroad, bringing with them rich and varied experiences that shape their perspectives and the way they approach life and love.
This diversity adds an extra layer of depth and beauty to the work I do, allowing me to capture moments that reflect their unique stories and backgrounds. It’s an inspiring experience to be part of such meaningful, multicultural celebrations of love.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
My advice to couples getting married is to focus on what truly matters to you, not just what tradition or others may expect. Your wedding day should be a reflection of your unique bond, your personalities, and your love story. Embrace the moments, the emotions, and the details that make your day special—whether it’s the quiet moments shared with loved ones or the vibrant energy of the celebration.
From a photography perspective, trust your photographer’s vision, but also be open to spontaneity. Some of the most beautiful moments are unplanned and authentic. Let yourself be present, allow the day to unfold naturally, and remember that the photos will capture the essence of your love, not just the event. Most importantly, don’t get too caught up in perfection—your love and joy will shine through no matter what.
