What would you like couples to know about you?
I love to capture gorgeous, beautiful things. I love a creative wedding design, a jaw-dropping landscape, warm yummy sunsets, a delicate floral display or a designer dress that makes me swoon—but in the end, I am truly here for the moments. I’m here for long hugs, for deep first kisses and for that happy skip down the aisle that says “I do” over and over and over again.
Where are you based?
I am based in Orange County, California, but work everywhere! I love to travel both nationally and internationally. I have also been to several countries and am multilingual.
How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as a little messy and a little pristine. A clean, symmetrical photo to highlight the gorgeous architecture of a French villa followed by a slightly out-of-focus reception photo that captured a fleeting but important moment. When you’re intentional, every photo tells its own story.
If I had summarize my approach in one sentence, I would say that I am a documentary-style wedding photographer with a passion for artistry, connection, and all things editorial.
What is your most memorable career moment?
I often think back to my very first elopement. It was the beginning of my career in wedding photography, and I was thrilled that someone had chosen me to capture their wedding day. I felt humbled and awestruck at the opportunity, and I didn’t want to let them down. The sweet couple who had booked me had spent every last penny that they had to fly across the world and to finally be together. Their elopement was beautiful, sincere, and so blissful. I think about it all the time because I never want to lose that simple, euphoric feeling that comes when someone has entrusted you to capture their most precious moments.
What inspires you?
I love love! I am so passionate about love of all kinds. Romantic love, family love, friendship love. Even as a photographer, I hold so much tenderness for my clients. My work is made with love.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
I shoot both digitally and on film! My childhood was full of happy memories captured on disposable cameras and polaroids. As a professional, I began with digital but am now finding myself pulled back to the raw and deep heritage of film.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
Every wedding collection is hand-crafted to meet the needs of my clients. No two couples are the same—and neither are their collections.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
There are three things that I love most in this world: historic architecture, warm coastlines, and kind souls. For this reason, I have fallen in love with the Iberian Peninsula and all of the Mediterranean Ocean. My travels in Portugal, Spain, France, and Italy have won me over but I would love to see more of this little corner of the world.
Who is your dream client?
My dream client is artistic, creative, and artful. They are romantic and full of love, not only for their partner, but for all of their family and friends. Now that they have found their person, their dream is to celebrate with the most intimate and yet lavish event.
Thoughtful details and artistic elements make the day truly theirs—from floral design to handwritten notes or little elements that remind them of when they first started dating. They have hired a team of artists that they truly adore and have admired for a long time and are so excited to enjoy their special day surrounded by those they love.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
You have carefully selected and curated a team of incredible planners and artists to make your day incredible. I dare you to release control and to let us serve you! You have already entrusted us with your wedding, so now it is time to trust.
In the end, you are not clients, hosts, models, or actors. You are the guests of honor, and this is your day. Enjoy every second of it!
