We travel Australia wide for weddings and worldwide for elopements.
How would you describe your style?
Our heart is always for creativity and connection, honest moments, the imperfectly beautiful. We are very much influenced by film photography and a feeling of nostalgia, we love shooting in a way that feels like a snapshot, capturing a fleeting moment. We have loved incorporating analog formats like Super 8 video and our point-and-shoot film camera into our offering.
What inspires you?
We are inspired by our couples and a deep appreciation for the privilege it is to be invited into these very personal and significant moments.
How would you describe your working style?
We capture wedding days in a relaxed and authentic way, full of real emotion and natural interactions. The in between moments are just as important as the big moments. Our aim is to blend seamlessly into wedding days and help our couples and their guests feel as comfortable as possible, allowing real moments to unfold naturally.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
We offer both photography and videography and shoot both digitally and with film. While our primary equipment is digital, we love shooting a few photos on our analog cameras and capturing nostalgic Super 8 films.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
We have set packages that are a great starting place and then have a variety of options that can be added, such as fine art wedding albums, prints or extra hours. Our analog pack that includes Polaroids, photos taken on our film cameras and Super 8 video.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
Honestly, right now we are loving wedding films! There is something so special about the imagery and movement captured and experiencing that with music and snippets of the vows and speeches, it really transports you back to a moment.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
We have captured weddings in every state in Australia, but would love to travel to Uluru for an elopement. We’ve also photographed a handful of weddings in New Zealand and Norway but capturing an elopement in any European city would be a dream.
Who is your dream client?
Our dream clients choose to get married in a way that reflects who they are. They know themselves, have a strong sense of their own style and invest in beautiful details and the things that matter to them.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
There is so much to think about when planning a wedding, that’s why we always recommend deciding what you want to prioritise right at the outset. Consider your own tastes and interests and how you want to feel on the day. There is no reason why you can’t design a wedding that truly reflects who you are and includes the things you love. Aside from the legal parts of your ceremony, there are very few things you have to do or have to have to get married.
