With extensive experience in planning editorial shoots and events, we bring high-level organisation to your wedding planning process. What would you like couples to know about you?
Our team consists of highly emotionally intelligent people who believe in the importance of a wedding photo and video duo. We work well together and we know when to bring the high energy and when a calm and laid-back approach is necessary.
We love working with people and love social events. We have over 8 years experience in the event photo and video space. We are a young team that loves to bring value not only through our work, but also through our social media, where we have all of our tips and tricks series online - so we can help couples plan their day.
Where are you based?
Sydney and Newcastle, NSW.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! We travel interstate and internationally. We will be heading to Europe in 2025 for some weddings and Lake Como in 2026.
How would you describe your style?
Candid, documentary style with an editorial eye. Our photos are timeless and we focus on natural tones in our editing, as well as raw, authentic emotions in our images.
What is your most memorable career moment?
Rebranding our business last year and throwing a massive launch party to celebrate with all of our closest friends and family was a highlight.
We are also having fun showcasing some of our distinctive creative concepts in our latest editorial photoshoots.
What inspires you?
We are inspired by events that are set apart from others and make a statement on style and fashion. We love to capture couples who have a real and strong romantic connection. It’s incredible to be part of a wedding day that has so much love and care thoughtfully designed throughout the day.
What motivates you to do what you do?
We love to capture special moments in social settings, as we are outgoing and love the way that everyone comes together to celebrate life’s highlights. We love the atmosphere that is created around an evening cocktail hour and enjoying the afternoon sunshine on your skin.
Our passion for travel and art drives us to explore new destinations worldwide and we incorporate these experiences into our work. We are inspired to make a positive impact on our industry and community by supporting the growth of vendors and fostering community development.
How would you describe your working style?
We have a combined warehouse space in Newcastle which has high ceilings and waterfront views. We love to have a large creative space which is decorated beautifully with plants and furnishings, as this is what inspires us when we are at work.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
We capture weddings both digitally and on 35mm film, as well as on super 8 for videography.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
We make custom packages for individual needs, particularly our overseas couples.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
Our photography and video packages are named after cocktails because we and our ideal clients share a love for cocktails! Our preferred packages, known as 'Double Shot' packages, combine both photo and video services, as we enjoy capturing weddings in this dual format. Additionally, we take pride in providing 35mm film and super 8 videography options.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
We are most excited for our first two seasons in Europe in 2025 and 2026. We would travel almost anywhere for a wedding though, we’d definitely love to do a US wedding season one year.
Who is your dream client?
We love young and fun couples who have an eye for detail, who love to create an entire experience for their guests. Ideally our ideal client loves to travel overseas and loves a cocktail! Our ideal couple are genuine people who love their family and friends and aren’t love to have a large, extravagant event.
How do you select music to your films?
We like to send out a questionnaire to our couples to learn what types of music they like and especially what they don’t like. From this, we can make creative choices based on the tracks we hear throughout their wedding day, mixed in with the style of wedding they create.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Investing in a high-quality team of vendors is one of the best choices that you can make for your wedding day. Regardless of any unforeseen circumstances, they will be well-prepared and adept at collaborating effectively.
