Australian Bridal Designer Prea James has just launched her made-to-order bridal collection named Allure II for the 2024/25 season.
The Allure II Collection will be available at Prea James retailers worldwide from August. Building on the success of the previous Allure collection released in late 2023, Allure II features three breathtaking gowns, a new cult mini dress, and a versatile range of interchangeable separates. Each piece is meticulously designed to complement items from the current or past collections, meaning endless options to make your PJB look as individual as you. Allure II is a testament to empowering brides to showcase their individuality and embrace their unique style.
Allure II showcases Prea James' artistry and craftsmanship, offering a diverse selection of silhouettes ranging from sleek and contemporary to voluminous and romantic. Drawing inspiration from the timeless beauty of 1950s and 60s silhouettes, each gown in this collection pays homage to the classic elegance of that era, while incorporating modern elements for a contemporary twist on these enduring styles.
The Camille gown is wrapped in a delicate draping of buttery velvet that artfully sculpts the feminine form. She embodies elegant refinement, poetic romance and understated luxury with every step. The sensual skirt features a high side split and fluid draping that is gracefully gathered on one side, hugging the hips to carve out a silhouette that embodies alluring femininity.
With a hint of avant-garde grandeur, Maho is a statement a-line silhouette gown. Maho is luxuriously crafted from a textured delicate jacquard that is exclusive to Prea James. The bodice has a built in structure, giving support, while the soft drape gives it a more relaxed elegance.
The third long gown from the collection, Mariska, has a column skirt that gently frames the feminine form. She reimagines bridal fashion with her versatility to effortlessly transform your bridal look from ceremony to reception. Wear her with the Daphne Train or Grace Overskirt for a dramatic ceremony entrance, or style her with the Elouise Tails for a subtle statement at a stylish soirée.
Allure II also includes three versatile, detachable separates that suit a number of dresses and mini's from Prea James' collections. The Eloise Tails are crafted from Prea's signature lustrous twill and transition your bridal look seamlessly from ceremony to reception with undeniable ease and fluidity. The Daphne Train shapes a nostalgic and statement silhouette with a nod to the 1950’s and is designed to smoothly transform your bridal look. And mastering the art of minimalist drama, the Grace Overskirt is the first of her kind in the Prea James Bridal collection. The Grace Overskirt features directional pleats on the waist that flow into her sweeping skirt. She is fashioned from 7 metres of fabric, making her the ideal statement for a momentous ceremony entrance.
The Mika Top, another adaptable piece from Allure II, can be paired with skirts from Prea's previous collections. The Mika Top has a chic silhouette, perfect for a fashionable soirée where luxury meets modern simplicity.
The fourth dress from the collection is the stunning Rose Mini. Rose marries iconic features from some of Prea James' favourite styles to sculpt a silhouette that bridal dreams are made of. Just like the Sidonie, the Rose Mini features an internal power mesh corset, providing full support with boning and an adjustable back, allowing brides to perfectly fit their corset to their shape and desired fit.
