Tell us a little about yourselves!
We are both 22 years old, We just bought our first home together near the beach, Carl is a fire alarm technician and I work at a flower shop in Berlin, Maryland where our wedding was held!
Why did you decide to get married where you did?
We just love the area and it was super close to home, the The Atlantic Hotel is absolutely beautiful and feels like you stepped in a time machine.
How many guests did you have?
Around 60.
Tell us about your outfits.
My dress was a easy choice! As soon as I put it on, I knew it was perfect for me. It felt so timeless. I knew I wanted to incorporate vintage pieces in my look. I wanted bright red shoes and I found a sweet pair of vintage heels and earrings. They came from a lovely lady in London. Carl’s tux is from Dryden's - just like my dress, with an amazing floral pocket square from Bleached Butterfly!
What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?
I just knew I wanted everything to look and feel timeless. When I look at our wedding photos from Morgan Moos 20 years from now you wouldn’t be able to tell which year we were married. I also am a vintage lover, so I incorporated older pieces into the day.
Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?
My necklace was the same necklace that my mother and her mother wore on their wedding days. That was a very special piece for me to include on our day.
Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?
Since I work at a florist (Bleached Butterfly), I had seen a number of weddings which my boss had styled. I really got to appreciate all the hard work that goes into the process for my own wedding. When I finally got to see my bouquet and all the other floral arrangements, I was blown away with all the personal touches - including my favorite little mushrooms!
