Tell us a little about yourselves!

Jes and Brandon met at a design festival in Portland, OR in 2016. Since then, they have moved to Brooklyn, NY and continue to share a creative life together with their two dogs.

Why did you decide to get married where you did?

Jes grew up nearby in Twentynine Palms. We lived in the desert together in 2020 and developed a deep affection for the area. We wanted to share a unique place that means a lot to us with all the people we love.

How many guests did you have?

90. Monique Bianca captured our day.

Tell us about your outfits.

Jes’ ceremony dress and veil were designed by Amsale. The sleeves and train were detachable, so she was able to alter her looks throughout the day. Later at night, she changed into a mini dress by Rebecca Vallance and a bow by Sandy Liang.

Brandon’s suit, shirt, and tie were custom made by Todd Snyder.

What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?

Creating a fun, unique experience for our guests that was a reflection of the love and life that we share together.

Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?

We wanted to celebrate Jes’ Filipino heritage. We had a display of Filipino snacks at the ceremony, and Jes performed traditional dances with her sisters and mom at the reception.
