Nadia and Christopher opted to diverge from a typical wedding format, instead throwing a memorable party for close family and friends. The couple got married April 15th 2019 at The Grassroom in Los Angeles, California. "The venue and date worked perfectly for us, The Grassroom is kind of bizarre and unexpected. " They had 50 guests from near and far - Christophers' family is from Massachusetts and Nadia's extended family from Wisconsin.
The wedding fell on a Monday, which accommodated their unique schedules as restaurant managers. "That's how we met in fact! We worked together in a stressful restaurant environment for a number of years. Naturally, we are both huge foodies and; of course, we needed amazing food. Fundamental LA
took care of the catering and Lark Cake Shop took followed up with dessert. Christopher kept the juices flowing with a signature cocktail and other libations from his restaurant."
Everything was documented by Jamie from Rad and in Love. "Jamie was patient and easy to work with. We felt super comfortable, even though neither of us are 'all eyes on us' kinda people. The results are better then we ever expected! We had a truly perfect day and we can always relive it through these beautiful images." Carly Rae Weddings was the Day Of Coordinator and flowers were by Poppy Lavender Florals.
Nadia wore a vintage hair piece that belonged to Christopher’s grandmother, and a vintage dress from Etsy. Their advice for other couples getting married? " Make sure to stop and enjoy the day! Theres a lot the goes into one day, and it can fly by in an instant if you let it. Take a breath, enjoy each other!"
