Tell us a little about yourselves!
We met 13 years ago in our hometown of Orange County, Southern California. Nate is a CMO for fitness companies and Dwight is a freelance Creative Director in the fashion and advertising industries.
They are fathers to a 7 year old pug named Sid who thinks she’s the king of the house (and let’s be honest, she probably is)!
Why did you decide to get married where you did?
Palm Springs, and especially the iconic Parker Palm Springs , has always been a treasure trove of memories for us. Over the years, we've made countless trips there—sometimes together and sometimes apart—and it always felt like the perfect backdrop for our adventures. With its stunning desert landscapes, expansive skies, great vibes, and mild December weather, it’s truly a magical time of year to soak in all the charm the desert has to offer.
How many guests did you have?
Somehow ended up at 130! Even though we had originally capped it at 100. Amanda Noel captured our day.
What was your budget?
Definitely….over! But worth every penny.
Tell us about your outfits.
We wanted very classic tuxedos. Dwight has always admired the structure and elegance of Tom Ford, while Nate has a nostalgia for Armani and its timelessness.
What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?
We really wanted everyone to feel included and part of the celebration—it wasn’t just about us! To make it special for all our guests, we dug up photos from our past with each person and paired them with heartfelt handwritten notes at their table settings. It was our way of celebrating the connections that brought us all together!
Any tips for couples getting married?
Don’t sweat the small stuff and go with your guts. Plan your wedding as if it would be 50 years from now, so it will be forever memorable and timeless.
