What would you like couples to know about you?
I founded The Isle after struggling to find a wedding planner who was willing to break away from traditional aesthetics and generic package deals. Faced with this challenge, I took a leap of faith and planned my own wedding in Greece. It turned out to be perfect because I was able to design a celebration that truly reflected our priorities and budget. We focused on what mattered most to us—elevated food and drinks, fashion-forward photography, and breathtaking locations—rather than extravagant “Love” signs or gimmicky trends.
With over a decade of experience as a creative project manager in the luxury fashion and design industry, I leveraged my global perspective, design aesthetic, and creative network to launch The Isle. My goal was to respond to the evolving wedding landscape and provide couples with a modern alternative.
Taking the risk with my own wedding showed me what was possible. Since then, we’ve worked with couples who want to celebrate their weddings in a way that’s as unique as their story, always placing their vision at the heart of everything we do.
Where are you based?
We are based between London and Zakynthos, in Greece and specialise in planning weddings in both locations. Having lived in London for 12 years and spent a lot of time in Zakynthos over the past eight years, we’ve built strong relationships with local suppliers, enabling us to work with the best venues, chefs, DJs, and provide authentic experiences for you and your guests. So whether you fancy a City wedding or Island wedding, or perhaps both we are here to make that happen.
While London and Zakynthos are our primary focus, we’re open to planning weddings in other parts of Europe. If you have a specific location in mind, we’d love to hear from you!
How would you describe your style?
Minimal Maximalism. It’s all about finding the perfect balance between simplicity and impact. It means choosing just the right moments to make a bold statement while maintaining a timeless and elegant aesthetic.
What is your most memorable career moment?
One of my most memorable career moments happened late in the evening at a wedding this year. A guest approached me and shared how the day had completely transformed their perspective on marriage and weddings. They were thrilled to finally experience a modern celebration that truly resonated with them. Before leaving, they asked for my contact details—and later told me they proposed to their partner of 10 years! Now, we are thrilled to be planning their wedding for next year.
What inspires you?
"In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary." This quote by Aaron Rose perfectly encapsulates our approach to wedding planning.
Working in Greece reminds us of the profound beauty in simplicity, and we draw much of our inspiration and design from the island’s natural landscapes. At the same time, our base in London and experience in the design industry keeps us connected to the latest trends in art, design, food and events. It’s the perfect blend of two worlds, giving us a rich source of creativity and inspiration.
How would you describe your working style?
I’ve had the privilege of working as a project manager on large-scale design and build projects for some of the world’s most prestigious brands, including Chanel, Hermès, Asprey, and the LVMH Group. This experience has shaped me into an exceptionally organised, detail-oriented, and resourceful professional with a strong design sensibility.
My working style is empathetic and client-focused. Having been through the wedding planning process myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel, so I’m passionate about supporting you every step of the way. I aim to make the journey enjoyable by offering clear guidance on everything from guest lists and budgeting to styling and logistics.
We are also building useful tips and resources on our blog so you feel prepared and confident throughout the process.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
Yes, our full planning service is customised to each couple's individual needs. We dedicate time to getting to know you, presenting ideas visually with a range of options that we refine together to create the perfect fit. Before the day, we conduct a pre-wedding run-through (online or in person), ensuring you feel confident about how everything will unfold. On the day itself, all you have to do is relax and enjoy every moment.
One of the most exciting parts of this service is location scouting. Recently, we discovered a charming Taverna in Mikro Nisi tucked into a secluded cove, perfect for a wedding day to remember. Arriving by boat, exchanging vows by the sea, enjoying a golden-hour seafood dinner, and dancing beneath the stars. London provides us with a number of new locations every week the restaurants and artisans here are limitless.
We warmly welcome all types of weddings and celebrations and are proud supporters of the LGBTQ+ community.
Who is your dream client?
Our dream clients are couples who may feel unsure about what their wedding could look like or overwhelmed by where to start. We love working with those who value connection and creativity, and who are open to discovering unique ways to celebrate their love.
Whether you’re brimming with ideas or need guidance from the ground up, we thrive on building personal relationships to craft a day that feels authentically and perfectly yours.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Take a moment to relax and truly enjoy the experience! Amid the anticipation and excitement, it’s essential to carve out time just for the two of you to connect as newlyweds on the day. We always make this a priority at The Isle.
