What is your most memorable career moment?

One of our most memorable career moments was designing a weekend-long wedding that felt more like a living, breathing love story than just an event. The couple trusted us completely to weave their personalities into every detail—from a hummingbird motif honoring a late parent to a tequila shot cart nestled inside a secret garden vignette. Guests cried at the welcome dinner, danced barefoot at the after-party, and told us it was the most “them” celebration they’d ever witnessed.

It was the kind of project that reminded us why we do this: to create moments that feel like memories as they’re happening. It was a perfect blend of creative freedom, trust, intention, and heart—and we still think about it all the time!

What inspires you?

What inspires us at Mudari Creative is people and their stories—the way a couple met, the colors of someone’s childhood home, a grandmother’s recipe, a song that makes you feel like you. We’re endlessly inspired by personal details and the energy that comes from shared memories, quirks, and love languages. That’s the stuff that makes an event unforgettable.

We also draw inspiration from art, textiles, architecture, and nature—especially the unexpected intersections between them. Think: the rich tones of an old oil painting, the imperfect texture of handwoven fabric, or the way light hits a mossy stone wall at golden hour. We’re moved by color, mood, and movement—anything with soul and depth.

Most of all, we’re inspired by the idea of doing things differently—pushing past what a wedding should l ook like and creating something that feels completely new, yet completely you!

How would you describe your working style?

Our working style is collaborative, calm, and deeply intentional. We’re not here to push a template—we’re here to help you articulate your vision (even if you don’t have the words yet) and bring it to life in a way that feels undeniably you. We listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and then get to work building something layered, beautiful, and meaningful.

We’re organized to a fault behind the scenes—timelines, budgets, logistics, and creative direction are all handled with precision—so you can feel supported and free to focus on the fun stuff. But the process itself is low-pressure, warm, and human. We're relaxed, responsive, and totally in it with you.

Expect real conversations, innovative ideas, moodboards and mockups, and a genuine partnership from start to finish. We’re not just planning an event—we’re curating a full experience that reflects your story in a fresh, elevated way.

They’re not looking for a cookie-cutter event—they want their wedding to have personality, soul, and a little bit of surprise. They’re excited to collaborate, open to new ideas, and down to throw out the rulebook in favor of something more meaningful. Most importantly, they care deeply about their people. They want guests to feel seen, included, and inspired—and that’s where we come in.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Our advice for couples getting married is simple: Stay true to yourselves and embrace the journey. Weddings can get overwhelming with all the opinions and traditions, but at the end of the day, it’s about you two, your love, and celebrating that in a way that feels authentic to your story. Communicate openly, trust your team, focus on the experience, let go of perfection and have fun. Above all, remember this day is yours—it should reflect who you are as a couple, and that authenticity will make it unforgettable.
